In order you know us better, here you are some notes about our personal story. It’s always good to learn new things about friends, isn’t it?

What do we know about Judit?

Hi! My name is Judit and I was born some years ago in Sabadell, although I have always lived in Cerdanyola. Since I was a little girl, I have always been making a lot of things, both for fun (“esbart, typical Catalan dances”, chorus) and for culture (languages, informatics, all kind of courses...).

I am very lucky to have a marvellous family who have always helped me in everything. My mother’s name is Conxi and she is the best woman I’ve ever met! My father, who I adore, is named Joaquim and I have got two sisters with whom I have a very good relationship: Ester, married to Jose, and Raquel, my weakness, who goes out with David, a very nice guy (it’s for this that he will be our wedding best man!). I also have a goddaughter: Laia, who isLa Laieta... moreover my niece, and a godson: Alex, my dear friend Jamila’s second child. Both of them are really pretty, they look like their godmother in this sense! ;-) ! Moreover, apart from the family I already had, now I have another one: Paco, Dani, Belén and grandma Teresa.

I studied primary school in Anunciata, Cerdanyola, where my niece and cousins study now, and high school in Pinar, Sant Cugat. The best thing I have got from my school years are very good friends as Monica and Maria.

After school I started Economy, which allowed me to meet Chari, but I left my studies at the first year, as I preferred to make more practical things, such as the Secretarial course I studied in Sant Cugat. After that I start working and I have always been combining work and studies. At work I have been meeting very nice people who have become good friends, such as Silvia, Susanita, Bea, Tessa, Anna, Mercedes, Christa... I have also met great friends in my courses, such as Lola and my ADT girls (Roser, Esther, Cris, and Carmeta).

One of my hobbies is learning languages, I speak fluently Catalan, Spanish, English and French, unfortunately I’m losing the quite good German I could speak, and I have definitively lost the Russian and Italian I could quite fluently speak... I met Jamila, Jara, Robert, Carles and Txell learning different language courses.

After working for several companies, it seems that I have finally found my place! Now I’m working for Boehringer Ingelheim, as assistant for a project that, for the time being, is going quite well. I am lucky because I have a very good relationship with my bosses, and this makes waking so early in the morning a little bit more bearable!

At Boehringer Ingelheim is precisely where I met the man of my life: Xavi.

I used to (and I still do!) have a coffee with Anna and Bea, and some times we had met a very nice and funny guy from IT who little by little was gaining my heart... we started going out on 1st May 2003 and the truth is that we’ve been getting on so well with each other, that in 5 months we were already living together! 12th December, an ordinary day, Xavi asked me to marry him! There was nothing to think about: I was so sure that this was what I desired the most in my life! The great day will be on 24th April 2005!

Xavi represents everything for me: he’s my couple, my best friend and the person I want to share the rest of my life with. I cannot imagine my life without him anymore!

Hi! And, of course, I’m Xavi...

Well, what I can tell you which is not summary secret? So, to start with, I was born in Barcelona in mid 1968 (a great year!). When I was a young boy I was part of the “Escoltes Sant Jordi” (the Catalan version of the Boy Scouts). My school life went through uneventfully, as I was not somebody who loved studying, and I had no other chance to follow the professional branch, with electronics, where I discovered informatics...

Jobs? What do you want me to tell you? Fortunately or unfortunately, I have worked for less companies than fingers I have in a hand, and I have always worked as an informatic. In mid 89 I started working for Boehringer Ingelheim, the multinational pharmaceutical company for which I’m working now. Oh! Well, for some time I was also working in advertising, and I worked as an extra for some films (do you remember “Quan es fa fosc”?), and in advertisements as it was a time when I was best looking, as I took care of my body going to the gym....

Meanwhile, I started becoming fond of a sport which really made me vibrate: flying with small planes which live on air with quite difficulty, but which give you all the freedom to move through the sky as if you were a bird.

After living in a big city for 24 years, I went to live to the countryside and it was really different! I was... let’s say “out of the market” for almost 10 years, dedicated to my garden, creating web pages, my animals and, even to politics!

After a deep personal transformation, which was not easy, I left the life I had (quite comfortable), and went to live to Sabadell, sharing a flat. And, what do you want me to tell you? When you are 35, this of not having your our privacy, is not nice at all...

Then I met Judit, a dark haired girl with an impressive smile which captivated me in a very little time, as we met for the coffee break at the office. I didn’t think twice, and once I found another flat to share in Cerdanyola, I change my residence again in order to be nearer my love.

Finally, we found a place for us, waiting for the new flat we’ve bought in Cerdanyola.

Well, so here I am, with the person I love the most in the world, and eager to live and enjoy myself the rest of my life with her.
